I am a Development Economist and Research/Data Analyst with over five years of experience at the intersection of research, policy, and social innovation. My work focuses on advancing inclusive development in Sub-Saharan Africa through evidence-based insights and rigorous quantitative analysis.
Currently a PhD Candidate in Mathematical Economics, Statistics, and Econometrics under the AERC Collaborative PhD Program, my research explores the transformative role of financial technology (Fintech) in reducing exclusion and fostering equal opportunities. My analytical work spans areas such as financial inclusion, impact evaluation, intergenerational mobility, and agricultural economics.
I combine strong technical expertise in micro-econometrics, causal inference, and composite index development with practical experience in consulting, teaching, and capacity building. As a Quantitative Consultant at the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) and a Research Fellow at the Cameroon Economic Policy Institute (CEPI), I contribute to studies that translate data into actionable policies for sustainable development.
Beyond academia, I am passionate about empowering others and disseminating knowledge. I founded Kalar’r, a publishing company, and lead Diomzen Magazine, a bilingual platform that highlights the voices of Africa’s ambitious youth.
Driven by curiosity and a commitment to equity, I strive to connect rigorous research with practical solutions that shape inclusive and resilient economies in the Global South.
