Hi! Welcome to my website :)
I am an incoming postdoctoral researcher at Tulane University. I received my Ph.D. in Management from Tsinghua University and hold bachelor's degrees in Management from University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) and in Economics from Peking University.Â
My research lies at the intersection of global innovation and intellectual property (IP), strategic management, and international business. Specifically, I am interested in how firms manage IP on a global basis, and how geopolitical tensions reshape the global innovation landscape. I have developed rich insights in empirical contexts including nascent industries (e.g., EV) and emerging markets (e.g., China).
My doctoral thesis has a particular focus on firms' global IP strategies. Drawing on large-scale patent databases and firm-level data, I explore how firms make decisions about whether, when, and where to protect their IP globally, especially under uncertainty and institutional heterogeneity.
