I am an Assitant Professor in Finance at Oregon State University.
My research focuses on the financial advisory industry and household finance. In my job market paper, I examine the impact of fiduciary status on broker-dealers, specifically how it influences their advising behavior and the financial outcomes for investors. In addition to my job market paper, I have co-authored several working papers that align with my research interests, which are detailed in my CV.
I have experience teaching finance courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In 2023 and 2024, I taught Python for Finance to Master of Finance and MBA students at the Lundquist College of Business where I received a peer evaluation score of 4.7/5.
