Hi, I'm Yuting Li. I am a PhD researcher at the University of Luxembourg, part of the project Economic Insecurity: Causes, Consequences and Actions, under the supervision of Prof. Louis Chauvel.
I orientated myself as a young scholar exploring in the field of social inequality and mobility, focusing on housing, wealth, low-fertility dynamics, and comparative welfare states from interdisciplinary views. I mostly use theory-motivated quantitative methods and longitudinal survey data in my studies. I speak Mandarin Chinese, English, a little German and Finnish.
Outside of research, I love playing DotA 2, badminton, and tennis with friends, and blogging to deliver up-to-date research findings.
Wealth/housing inequalities; Intergenerational inequality of wealth and well-being; Family formation and fertility; Comparing welfare states
