I am Yusuf Ziya Şen. I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Siena. Previously, I was a visiting PhD student at the University of Nottingham and at the Central European University. 

My research interests are in labour economics, innovation policy, and long-run growth. In my job-market paper, I studied how technological change causes within-occupation skill obsolescence and shapes displaced workers’ earnings, employment, mobility, and match quality.
