Hello!

My name is Yuqi Zhang, and I am a PhD candidate in Finance at Columbia Business School. My research studies economic impacts of transformative technologies, particularly in energy markets and the data economy.

I have interned as a PhD data scientist at Roblox, working with predictive models and large-scale user data. Prior to the PhD, I worked in economic consulting at the Brattle Group, where I provided quantitative analysis for litigation support. I graduated from Northwestern University with an undergraduate degree in Economics and Mathematics.
