How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
If you want a feature-packed pair of earbuds with a touchscreen charging case, active noise cancelling and a locate-my-earbuds function, choose Yunseity Ear Buds; if you need longer single-charge listening time, larger drivers and a noise-cancelling microphone for calls, choose Jiawu HiFi. That is the short version. The longer version comes down to what you actually do with earbuds all day — sit at a desk and fiddle with settings, or run, cycle and take calls outdoors.
• Yunseity Ear Buds — biggest strength: a full-colour LCD touch display on the case plus ANC, EQ adjustments, alarm settings and a "find earphones" feature. Very few budget earbuds give you that much to poke at.
• Yunseity Ear Buds — biggest trade-off: around 4.5 hours of playtime per charge from a 30mAh cell in each bud. Short sessions only, unless you keep cycling them through the 500mAh case.
• Jiawu HiFi — biggest strength: 10mm drivers and a rated 6–8 hours of working time, with a noise-cancelling mic aimed squarely at calls and voice chat.
• Jiawu HiFi — biggest trade-off: fewer smart extras. Touch control and a digital LED display, but no ANC, no EQ menu, no find-my-earbuds trick.
• Who Yunseity is for: commuters, gamers and tinkerers who want control and features on a compact in-ear design.
• Who Jiawu HiFi is for: runners, cyclists and anyone who lives on calls and wants the earbuds to just keep going.
The Yunseity Ear Buds are the more "gadgety" of the two. The headline item is the LCD full-colour touch display on the charging case — you get information at a glance and can interact with settings directly rather than guessing from a blinking LED. Beyond that, the feature list reads like someone tried to cram a smartwatch into an earbud case: music control, EQ adjustments, alarm settings, even camera control. There's also a find-earphones function, which honestly is the kind of thing you don't appreciate until the third time you've lost a bud under a car seat.
Active Noise Cancelling is on board, and that's the piece that makes these interesting for commuting or open-plan offices. ANC reduces external noise interference so you can listen at a lower volume in a noisy environment. Connectivity is rated to a stable 10 metres, which comfortably covers a home or a small office — you can leave your phone on the desk and walk to the kitchen without the audio falling apart.
Buy them if you want ANC, on-case controls and smart extras in an in-ear design, and you're fine with shorter listening sessions. Skip them if you need maximum hours per charge or you mainly care about call quality.
Jiawu HiFi: Who It's For
The Jiawu HiFi earbuds take the opposite approach. Instead of piling on smart features, Jiawu leans into the fundamentals: comfort, sound hardware and battery life. The design brief is a secure fit for extended wear — the kind of shape that stays put while you run, cycle or work out — and the spec sheet backs that up with a modest 35mAh cell per earbud that still manages a rated 6–8 hours of working time. That's a noticeably longer single stretch than the Yunseity pair offers, and for a lot of buyers that alone decides it.
The audio hardware is where Jiawu makes its pitch. 10mm drivers are a real, meaningful size for true wireless earbuds, and the company describes the tuning as powerful bass, warm mids and clear highs. Take the marketing language with the usual grain of salt, but a 10mm driver is a legitimate reason to expect fuller low-end than a tiny driver will give you. Bluetooth version is listed as V5.49 with AAC support and the same 10-metre transmission distance as the Yunseity buds.
The other differentiator is the noise-cancelling microphone. This is a mic array tuned for voice pickup, not active noise cancelling for your music — an easy thing to mix up. So if your day is full of calls, voice notes and voice-assistant commands, the Jiawu buds are built for that. Touch controls handle playback, calls, volume, track skipping and voice assistant activation, and the case has an LED digital display. Charging is over USB-C, which is the modern standard and one less cable to hunt for.
What you give up is the smart stuff. There's no ANC, no EQ adjustment menu, no alarm, no find-my-earbuds. The design is white, ABS, in-ear, and the fit is aimed at activity rather than at sitting still.
Buy them if you want long battery life, bigger drivers, a solid mic for calls and a secure fit for sport. Skip them if you specifically want active noise cancelling or a touchscreen case.
• Best for battery life → Jiawu HiFi. Rated 6–8 hours per charge versus up to 4.5 hours on the Yunseity buds. If runtime is your top priority, this isn't close.
• Best for noise cancelling → Yunseity Ear Buds. It's the only one of the two with actual Active Noise Cancelling for your music, not just a noise-cancelling mic.
• Best for calls and voice chat → Jiawu HiFi. The noise-cancelling microphone is purpose-built for clear voice pickup.
• Best for features and tinkering → Yunseity Ear Buds. LCD touch display, EQ adjustments, alarm, camera control and a find-earphones function. It's a much more interactive product.
• Best for running and cycling → Jiawu HiFi. The whole design is framed around a secure fit for outdoor sport and staying aware of your surroundings.
• Best for commuting and gaming → Yunseity Ear Buds. ANC plus the 10-metre stable connection suit a desk, a train or a couch session.
• Best for charging convenience → Yunseity Ear Buds. A full charge in about an hour is quick, and the 500mAh case gives you plenty of top-ups.
• Best for plugging into a USB-C world → Jiawu HiFi. USB-C charging rather than a proprietary or older connector.
• Best for a bigger driver → Jiawu HiFi. 10mm drivers, which is a genuine hardware advantage over small-driver designs.
If I were buying for myself, I'd take the Jiawu HiFi earbuds. In my opinion, the 6–8 hour runtime, 10mm drivers and noise-cancelling mic cover the three things most people actually use earbuds for — listening, calls and getting through a day without a recharge. The Yunseity Ear Buds are the more fun product and the LCD touch case is genuinely unusual at this level, but 4.5 hours per charge is a real constraint, and the smart extras are nice-to-haves rather than daily essentials. If ANC and a touchscreen case matter more to you than runtime, flip the decision — that's a legitimate call, just not mine.
FAQ
No — and this is the most common mix-up. Jiawu lists a noise-cancelling microphone, which cleans up your voice on calls. It is not ANC for your music. If you want active noise cancelling, the Yunseity Ear Buds are the pair that has it.
Jiawu HiFi, clearly. It's rated at 6–8 hours of working time from a 35mAh cell in each earbud, against up to 4.5 hours on the Yunseity buds' 30mAh cells. Yunseity's advantage is charging speed — roughly an hour to full — plus a larger 500mAh case.
Both are budget-tier true wireless earbuds, but I deliberately don't quote figures here because they move around. Check the current price on Amazon using the button on this page before you decide, since a small gap either way can change which one is the smarter buy for you.
