If you want a durable, wired classroom set that prioritizes longevity and standard testing environments for students aged 14 and above, choose Yunsailing 20; if you need an ultra-lightweight, swivel-cup solution with superior comfort for younger children and extended daily wear in mixed-age groups, choose XOSDA Bulk Headphones 25. Both options are wired solutions designed to handle high-volume usage, but they target different demographics and specific use cases within the educational and family landscape. The decision ultimately comes down to whether your priority is rugged, long-term reliability for older teens or plush, all-day comfort for kids who might be fidgeting during long online sessions.
• Yunsailing 20: Built with a heavy-duty ABS shell and PVC cable for maximum durability in high-traffic areas; trade-off is a slightly heavier build that fits best for teens and adults rather than small children.
• XOSDA Bulk Headphones 25: Features soft leather ear cups and an adjustable on-ear design specifically engineered for comfort over long periods; trade-off is the "on-ear" style which some users might find less isolating than fully enclosed over-ear models.
• Who it's for: Yunsailing is ideal for standardized testing centers and high school computer labs where devices need to survive rough handling by older students.
• Who it's for: XOSDA is perfect for elementary classrooms, home tutoring setups, and families needing a versatile pair of sports earbuds type C compatible devices (via adapter) or general listening gear for kids and toddlers.
The Yunsailing 20 Pack is engineered with a philosophy of rugged utility. When I look at the specifications, particularly the construction materials, it becomes clear this product is built to withstand the rigors of a busy environment. The enclosure is made from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), a material known for its toughness, paired with a PVC cable that is approximately 1.5 meters long. This combination suggests a device designed to resist corrosion and physical stress. Unlike disposable earphones that often break after a few weeks of student use, these are marketed as a reliable, reusable set intended for repeated application.
The fit is another critical factor here. These headphones feature an adjustable headband and cushioned ear pads, but the design leans towards an over-ear placement that accommodates larger head sizes. The manufacturer explicitly notes suitability for people aged 14 and above. This age range recommendation is significant because it tells us the headband tension and cup size are calibrated for teenagers and adults. If you are outfitting a middle school or high school lab, this is likely your sweet spot. The unilateral outlet design also adds a layer of convenience for storage and daily use, preventing tangled wires when not in use.

However, this robustness comes with a specific trade-off regarding weight and portability. At four pounds for the entire pack, the individual units are substantial. They are not designed for the smallest hands or for very young children who might struggle with the weight or the clamping force required to keep them secure. If you are looking for wireless earbuds for sleeping or ultra-lightweight travel gear, these wired units will not fit that niche. They are stationary workhorses. They excel in settings like libraries, testing centers, and corporate training rooms where the primary goal is consistent audio delivery without the risk of battery failure or Bluetooth interference. The universal 3.5 mm jack ensures compatibility with almost any desktop, laptop, or tablet, making them a safe bet for legacy systems and modern Chromebooks alike.
In contrast, the XOSDA Bulk Headphones 25 Pack takes a different approach, focusing heavily on ergonomics and user experience for a broader age range. The description highlights "soft swivel leather ear cups" and an "ultra-lightweight" build, which immediately signals a product designed for comfort during extended periods of wear. With 25 items in the box, this set is clearly targeted at classrooms or families that need more units than a standard 20-pack offers. The inclusion of leather materials for the ear cushions suggests a premium feel compared to standard plastic alternatives, aiming to reduce skin irritation and pressure points.
The "on-ear" shape is a defining characteristic here. While some audiophiles prefer the isolation of over-ear designs, the on-ear style keeps the headphones closer to the ears without fully enclosing them. This can be beneficial for situational awareness, allowing students to hear their teacher while wearing the headphones. The adjustable headband is described as fitting "all head sizes," from toddlers to adults. This versatility makes it an excellent choice for mixed-age environments, such as a homeschool co-op or a family setting where parents and children share the equipment. The impedance of 32 ohms indicates a standard load that works well with most consumer electronics without requiring an external amplifier.
This product also emphasizes sound isolation and media control capabilities. The noise control feature helps block out ambient distractions, which is crucial for online learning or focused study. Because they are individually bagged, organization and hygiene are managed right out of the box, a practical detail for teachers or parents managing multiple devices. The one-year manufacturer warranty provides a safety net that speaks to confidence in the build quality. However, because they are on-ear, they do not offer the same passive noise cancellation as deep-ear models. If your primary use case involves extremely noisy environments where total silence is needed, you might find the open-back nature of on-ear headphones less effective. Still, for general classroom use, travel entertainment, or casual listening, the balance of comfort and audio quality is hard to beat.
• Best for battery-free reliability → Yunsailing 20: Since both are wired, neither needs charging, but Yunsailing's robust PVC cable and ABS shell make it better for rough handling by older students who might drop or drag their gear.
• Best for all-day comfort on smaller heads → XOSDA Bulk Headphones 25: The soft leather ear cups and lighter on-ear design make these superior for kids, toddlers, and anyone sensitive to pressure, ensuring they stay comfortable during long lectures.
• Best for large group scaling → XOSDA Bulk Headphones 25: With 25 units per pack versus 20, you get five extra pairs for the price, offering better value for schools or large families needing immediate coverage.
• Best for older students and teens → Yunsailing 20: Explicitly rated for ages 14+, the fit and durability are tailored for the physical size and rougher usage patterns of high schoolers.
• Best for mixed-age flexibility → XOSDA Bulk Headphones 25: The adjustable band and lightweight build allow a single pair to comfortably fit a toddler, a teenager, and an adult, making them ideal for multi-generational households.
• Best for noise isolation focus → XOSDA Bulk Headphones 25: The specific mention of "sound isolation" and soft ear cushions suggests a tighter seal around the ear, reducing outside noise better than the standard over-ear design of the Yunsailing.
• Best for wired connectivity simplicity → Both: Both utilize a standard 3.5 mm jack, ensuring they work with any device that has a headphone port, from old desktops to new tablets.
• Best for sports earbuds type C adaptation → XOSDA Bulk Headphones 25: While both are wired, the lighter, flexible nature of the XOSDA makes them easier to adapt or pair with portable adapters for mobile use compared to the sturdier, heavier Yunsailing.
I would buy the XOSDA Bulk Headphones 25 for my own household and recommend it for most buyers seeking for kids wireless alternatives in a wired form factor. While the Yunsailing 20 is undeniably tough, the XOSDA's emphasis on soft leather ear cups and an on-ear design addresses the biggest pain point in kid-focused audio: comfort. Children move constantly, and a heavy, rigid headset can quickly become a nuisance. The XOSDA feels like it was engineered with the reality of a child's head in mind, offering the adjustability to grow with them and the cushioning to prevent fatigue. Whether for a classroom reward system or a family movie night, the ability to wear these for hours without discomfort makes them the smarter, more humane choice.
Yes, the XOSDA model is explicitly designed for kids, toddlers, and teens, featuring an adjustable headband and soft ear cups that accommodate smaller head sizes comfortably. The Yunsailing 20 is better suited for those aged 14 and up due to its heavier build and larger dimensions.
Neither model features active noise cancellation technology. However, the XOSDA headphones are described as having "sound isolation" properties through their cushioned ear cups, which passively block some ambient noise. The Yunsailing relies on its over-ear design for basic isolation.
Both headphones use a standard 3.5 mm jack, so you will need a simple USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter to connect them to newer laptops or phones without a headphone port. This setup works universally across devices.
The Yunsailing uses an over-ear style which sits around the ear, while the XOSDA uses an on-ear style that rests on top of the ear. On-ear models like the XOSDA are generally lighter and less bulky, making them better for active use or travel, whereas over-ear models like the Yunsailing offer a more secure fit for stationary activities like testing.
