Yun-Fu Liu (Tristan, 刘云夫)
PhD in Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Taiwan.
I am currently serving as the Head of the Perception, Decision & Planning, and Control Department at EACON in Beijing, China.
In 2012, I joined the research team at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). In 2013, I joined the Multimedia Signal Processing Laboratory (MSPLab) at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. In 2015, I worked with the Digital Video and Multimedia Laboratory (DVMM) at Columbia University, NY. In 2016, I joined Viscovery as a Senior Data Scientist and Tech Lead. In 2018, I joined CityBrain Lab (城市大脑实验室) at Alibaba DAMO Academy, Hangzhou, China, as the Head of Intelligent Highway and related products. In 2021, I was with ADLab (Autonomous Driving Lab, 自动驾驶实验室) at Alibaba DAMO Academy and led the Decision & Planning for heavy trucks on highways.
My main research interests are Deep Learning, Planning, Computer Vision, and their related applications.
