Research Interests
My research explores how organisms adapt to diverse environments through the lens of genomic information. I have conducted evolutionary analyses of mammals, phylogeographic studies using ancient DNA, and investigations of genomic introgression in pine species. Recently, I have expanded my research to include ancient proteomics analyses of Pleistocene animal fossils.

ゲノムに残る選択の痕跡から適応進化を探る
いきものが異なる環境にどう適応してきたかをゲノム情報を用いて探ることに興味があります。哺乳類の進化解析や古代DNAを用いた系統地理学的研究やハイマツを対象とした種間浸透交雑の研究をおこなってきました。更新世の動物化石を対象とした古代プロテオミクス解析もはじめています。
