Welcome to YULI Phone Vault.
Your privacy and ownership of your data are fundamental principles of this product. YULI Phone Vault is designed as a local-first backup solution, meaning your files remain under your control.
1. OVERVIEW
YULI Phone Vault is a desktop application that allows users to back up files from Android devices to their own computer or local storage.
The application is designed to operate primarily:
- locally
- offline
- without mandatory cloud services
- without user accounts
- without invasive tracking
2. DATA OWNERSHIP
All files backed up using YULI Phone Vault remain the property of the user.
YULI Phone Vault does not claim ownership over:
- photos
- videos
- documents
- media
- backups
- metadata
3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Local Application Data
The application may locally store:
- backup history
- backup manifests
- device identifiers
- configuration settings
- logs
- integrity metadata
- timestamps
- transfer status
This information is stored locally on the user's device or chosen storage destination.
4. FILES AND PERSONAL CONTENT
YULI Phone Vault may access user-selected files solely for the purpose of:
- backup
- integrity validation
- transfer operations
- recovery operations
The application does NOT:
- analyze personal content
- scan photos for advertising
- sell user data
- use files for AI training
- upload personal files without explicit user action
5. OFFLINE-FIRST PHILOSOPHY
Core backup functionality is designed to work without an internet connection.
Users can use the application completely offline for:
- USB backups
- local restores
- integrity validation
- incremental backups
- local history management
6. CLOUD FEATURES (OPTIONAL)
Certain optional premium features may support third-party cloud providers such as:
- Google Drive
- OneDrive
- Dropbox
- S3-compatible providers
Cloud functionality is optional and user-controlled.
YULI Phone Vault does not operate proprietary cloud storage infrastructure in the base version.
Users are responsible for reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party cloud providers they choose to connect.
7. ENCRYPTION
If encryption features are enabled:
- encryption occurs locally on the user's device
- encryption keys remain under user control whenever possible
- files are encrypted before transmission to supported destinations
YULI Phone Vault does not intentionally store user encryption keys on external servers.
8. TELEMETRY AND ANALYTICS
YULI Phone Vault is designed to minimize telemetry.
The application does NOT intentionally collect:
- browsing activity
- unrelated personal information
- advertising identifiers
- contact lists
- messages
- location history
Optional anonymous diagnostics may be offered in future versions to improve reliability, but these will be opt-in.
9. NO SPYWARE OR TRACKING
YULI Phone Vault is not spyware.
The application does NOT:
- secretly monitor users
- record keystrokes
- access unrelated files
- transmit hidden analytics
- mine personal data
10. SECURITY
Reasonable security measures are implemented to help protect:
- backup integrity
- local metadata
- transfer operations
- stored manifests
- configuration data
However, users are responsible for:
- securing their own devices
- protecting backup destinations
- maintaining physical access control
- safeguarding encryption credentials
11. DATA RETENTION
Backup data retention is controlled by the user.
Users may:
- delete backups
- remove manifests
- clear logs
- uninstall the application
The application does not retain remote copies of local backups in the standard local-first model.
12. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
YULI Phone Vault may use third-party open-source libraries and platform APIs including:
- Android Debug Bridge (ADB)
- SQLite
- filesystem APIs
- encryption libraries
These components remain subject to their respective licenses.
13. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
YULI Phone Vault is not directed toward children under 13 years of age.
14. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically.
Updated versions will include a revised “Last Updated” date.
