外乱オブザーバを用いたびびり振動検知（2009~2011年）

制御工学の技術である外乱オブザーバを用いて、外部センサを用いることなく振動を検知するアルゴリズムを開発しました。

外乱オブザーバとは、モータに内蔵されているエンコーダと電流指令値から、モータにかかる外乱トルクを推定することができる技術であり、推定した外乱トルクを用いて異常な振動を検知します。

We have developed an algorithm to detect chatter vibrations without using external sensors by using a disturbance observer.

The disturbance observer is a technology that can estimate the disturbance torque motor from the encoder and reference current built into the spindle motor. Based on the estimated disturbance torque, our algorithm can detect chatter vibration.

工作機械の振動は、自励振動と強制振動に分類されます。振動の原因によって対処法が異なるため、振動の種類を判別することは非常に重要です。上図の例では、工具の固有振動数である780Hzの強制振動と加工表面に励起される722Hzの自励振動が発生していました。

上図のようにフーリエ変換を用いることで、振動種類を判別することは可能ですが、異常を瞬時に判別するためには、より軽量なアルゴリズムが求められます。

そこで、バンドパスフィルタや強制振動成分のみを除去するノッチフィルタを用いて、高速で異常振動の分類を行うことアルゴリズムを開発しました。

Machine tool vibration can be classified into self-excited vibration and forced vibration. It is important to identify the type of vibration because countermeasures vary depending on the cause of the vibration. In the example shown in the figure above, there was a forced vibration of 780 Hz, which is the resonance frequency of the vibrating tool, and a self-excited vibration of 722 Hz excited on the machined surface.

As shown in the figure above, it is possible to determine the vibration type by using Fourier transform, but a more lightweight algorithm is required to instantly determine the anomaly.

We developed an light weight algorithm to classify the chatter vibrations by using a band-pass filter and a notch filter that removes only the forced vibration component.
