Mitochondria Physiology Laboratory

We study the physiological and pathological roles of mitochondria in cardiac and skeletal muscles.

We explore therapeutic strategies such as drug and gene delivery, exercise, and other treatments for multiple diseases such as neuromuscular disorders, cardiac disorders, and aging-related diseases. 

We approach with a combination of molecular, functional, and imaging analyses using different cell and animal models.
