Tourism Cooperation to be strengthened by Belgium & Egypt

The Belgian and Egyptian authorities are delighted to extend cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism and antiquities.

The discussion on this agreement was concluded during a meeting held with the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt, Ahmed Issa, and the Ambassador of Belgium in Cairo François Cornet d'Elzius, reports Yugo.pk.

In addition, Yemeni Al-Bahar, Deputy Minister of Technical Affairs, and Minister Plenipotentiary Dalia Abdel Fattah, General Supervisor of the General Directorate of the Ministry of International Relations and Agreements also participated in this meeting.

During the welcoming remarks, Minister Issa stressed the close relations between Egypt and Belgium, which are characterized by co-operation in a variety of fields.

Another important point that was mentioned during the meeting was the improvement of the cooperation technique to attract additional leisure visitors to Egypt from Belgium, as well as the discussion of the possibility of Egypt's participation in an important cultural event to be held within the Belgian state during the following interval.

In addition, in recent times, Belgium can be highlighted as one of the countries that has begun to recover from the damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, thus improving the most in the field of tourism.
