Yuexia Zhang

About Me

I am a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Management Science and Statistics and a core faculty of School of Data Science at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Before this, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto, mentored by Linbo Wang. I received my Ph.D. degree in Statistics from Fudan University, under the supervision of Zhongyi Zhu.  During my Ph.D. training, I visited Annie Qu in the Department of Statistics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for one year. Prior to Fudan, I received my bachelor's degree in Statistics from  East China Normal University.

My research interests include but are not limited to causal inference, microbiome data analysis, missing data, robust estimation, high-dimensional statistics, longitudinal data analysis,  measurement error, and interdisciplinary research.
