The example exponential chart, λ = 6, is provided here as reference.
If located at zero, there will be no outcome values less than zero.
If located at ten, similarly, there will be no outcome values less than ten. All values will be increased by ten.
With various values of λ simultaneously displayed, it is easier to see the effect on the shape of the curve.
Notice that larger values of λ result in a higher possibility of occurrence of more outcome values (smaller and greater than the value of λ).
With smaller values, outcomes of smaller value are highly likely and conversely = outcomes of larger values are significantly less likely.
