Welcome to my personal website!

I am an Assistant Professor of Management and Organizations with a focus on Strategy at Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business

My research explores the long-term implications of the evaluation processes in the market, such as ranking, funding, and pricing, for innovation and entrepreneurship. I have studied a wide range of sectors, including entertainment, technology, and venture capital.

My research has been supported by the National Science Foundation and the Strategy Research Foundation. My work has been published by Administrative Science Quarterly, Strategic Management Journal, Research Policy, Scientometrics, and Sociological Science. The findings of my recent study have been cited by the United Nations and McKinsey Global Institute and prestigious media outlets such as Harvard Business Review, Bloomberg, Billboard, The Hill, and Vox. I have served as ad hoc reviewer for Administrative Science Quarterly, Management Science, Strategic Management Journal, and Organization Science

B-school has been home to me for more than a decade. Before joining Cornell, I received my Ph.D. in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. I have experience working for two executive education programs, Harvard-Fudan Executive Education Program and Cisco China Supply Chain Leadership Institute.
