Şişecam International Glass Conference combined with 34th Şişecam Glass Symposium Istanbul, Turkey (November 21 - 22 , 2019)
We participated in Şişecam International Glass Conference 2019 with 3 oral contributions. Naji gave a talk about "Investigation of white light generation in rare earth doped tellurite glass nanocomposites for solid state lighting" in "Glass Chemistry and Structure" session. Aslı presented her work on "The Effect Of Different Calcium Compounds On Bath Contamination In Chemical Strengthening Process" and Büşra gave a presentation about "The Effect of Bath Contamination on Chemical Strengthening Via Different Forms of Sodium Compounds" in "Surfaces-Interfaces, and Advanced Glass Processing" session. Additionally, Erçin chaired the "Melting, Forming Processes and Bulk Properties" session on Thursday.

Erçin gave the opening talk of MTM 2019 which was dedicated in honor of Prof. Dr. Süheyla Aydın & Prof. Dr. Kelami Şeşen for their forty years contribution to the field of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering

25th International Congress on Glass (ICG 2019), Boston, Massachusetts USA (June 9-14, 2019)
Orhan represented our research group at the 25th International Congress on Glass (ICG) in Boston, USA with one oral and two poster presentations. ICG is the most important international event about glasses, which was attended by more than 900 people from 45 countries.
