Yen-Tsung Chen

I am working in the Department of Mathematics at National Cheng Kung University as an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) starting in Spring 2026. Before that, I worked in the Department of Mathematics at Pennsylvania State University as an S. Chowla Research Assistant Professor (Postdoctoral) with Mihran Papikian from January 2023 to December 2025. Before that, I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics at National Tsing Hua University in May 2022 under the supervision of Chieh-Yu Chang.

I am interested in various topics of number theory in function fields including:
(1) Arithmetic of Drinfeld modules and t-motives
(2) Transcendence of special values in global function fields
(3) Drinfeld modular forms of arbitrary rank
