I am an assistant professor (aka Senior Lecturer) of Data Science at the school of Industrial & Intelligent Systems Engineering at Tel Aviv University, and the Steinhardt museum of natural history. Prior to that I was an assistant professor of data science at the Hebrew University, a post-doctoral fellow at the Rotman school of management at the University of Toronto, and hold a PhD degree in computational neuroscience from the Hebrew University.
My current research interests include topics in human centered AI, and especially various social aspects of AI systems (safety, privacy, fairness, detecting fake content), as well as applications of data science in Ecology, Operations Research, and Transportation science.
