Mr. Melvin Lee is an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and the founder of Y. S. Lee & Co., a law firm based in Bandar Puteri, Puchong, Selangor.

He graduated from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, in 2012 and subsequently completed the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) at Brickfields Asia College (BAC) in 2013. He began his pupilage in 2014 under the tutelage of Dato’ Davis Yee at Messrs. Davis & Low, and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2015. He thereafter continued his practice as a legal assistant at the same firm.

In 2016, he founded Y. S. Lee & Co., with a focus on handling litigation and private client matters, while maintaining clear communication and a structured approach to legal processes.

Mr. Lee has experience in various areas of litigation and advisory work, including contractual disputes, probate and letter of administration, bankruptcy matters, divorce and family matters, as well as will drafting and related legal matters.

He adopts a practical and clear approach in advising clients, with emphasis on explaining legal procedures, documentation requirements, and available options, so that clients are able to make informed decisions.
