Description

The central aim of the summer school is to bring together researchers from different backgrounds in geometry and stochastic analysis, to discuss and advance both fields. Particular emphasis will be put on aspects of the following topics: Stochastic differential geometry, geometric methods for stochastic partial differential equations, rough or stochastic differential equations on spaces with ambient geometry, and numerical methods for stochastic analysis on Lie groups and manifolds.

The summer school consist of 3 lecturers, each giving a 90 minute lecture + a 45 minute lecture. In addition, we will have many researchers giving 40 minutes talks + 5 minutes of questions.

Finally, on Friday there will be a special session for Ph.D.-students, each giving a 25 minutes talk. We will have a prize for the best talk of the session.

This event is the follow up to a similar themed workshop arranged in Bergen in 2020.

We gracefully acknowledge financial support by the Trond Mohn foundation and the University of Agder.

An online event

The summer school will be held online on Zoom. You will be sent zoom links once the date of the summer school approaches. We will also have some lunch social activities. For more details, see the program as it updates.

Ph.D. sessions award for best talk:

Winners of best talk during the Ph.D.-session was awarded to Erik Jansson (Gothenburg) and Helena Kremp (Berlin). Congratulations!
