Science for the People

Science is deemed as the process of obtaining knowledge from the world we are living in right now. It involves constant observation, experimentation, and interpretation of data to formulate fundamental scientific theories and laws and have a better understanding of what is happening in our surroundings. It may seem difficult and burdensome for others, but let us keep in mind that a person does not have to become a scientist in order to be a science enthusiast. Anyone can appreciate the marvel of science and the convenience it has brought to us in our daily lives.
The month of September marks the start of the Science and Math Fair commenced annually by the USANT Junior High School Department. A wide variety of contests are open to all bonafide students which are spearheaded by the teachers from the Science and Math Departments. The activity aims to enhance the students’ various skills while advocating the significance of science and mathematics to every individual.
There is no doubt that science has revolutionized the environment around us. Advancements in technology from earlier times are much more different than where it stands today. These modern innovations have continued to make our lives easier, and it is hard to imagine what life is like without it. Conducting activities similar to the current Science and Math Fair is one way to sharpen the abilities of students and prepare them for what’s coming right ahead of them in the future.
