A WORLD OF KNOWLEDGE
A WORLD OF KNOWLEDGE
By: Hannah Pineda
Divided into different branches, science is the systematic study of nature and is concerned with the phenomena happening in the physical world. It covers certain topics that can be of use in our daily lives and welcomes scientists to a world of discovery and thrill. By observing and experimenting, humans endeavor to learn more about the universe and answer the world's great mysteries. Some may call it a simple subject, but science has proved itself to be complex and never-ending.
Science has existed since the beginning and will continue to evolve over time. They use their passion for science as a way to gain more knowledge, teaching us the possibilities that may arise in the future as well as events that have occurred in the past. There are no age restrictions; if one has the desire to learn about science, they, too, can be a scientist.
Although science is a difficult subject for most, it may be fun in a variety of ways. The USANT Junior High School department hosts an annual event every month of September, the Science and Math Fair, which allows students to participate in various activities and contests to have fun while also acquiring knowledge and skills. Its purpose is to help them improve their talents in science and mathematics while also preparing them for a more successful future in modern-day life.
Students can use the Science and Math Fair as a stepping-stone to open their minds and discover a world of knowledge. By strengthening their capabilities, students will be able to recognize the significance of science and that as we get more advanced, people will soon find out how difficult modern technology can be. Even though these devices have been invented to make our lives easier, one must still appreciate and understand the real value of science to be able to help themselves with the new world.
