The USANT Junior High School Department's official school publication, Yraga/Amudyong sealed another school year with a new set of Editorial Board during the recently concluded Second Virtual Turnover Ceremony having the theme “The Beginning & End of a Chapter: Promoting Youth Empowerment through Campus Journalism,” held today, July 9 at 6 in the evening.

The event’s major highlights alongside the presentation of the incoming editors is the educational and elucidative speech of the Guest Speaker, Ms. Mary Lorelie A. Potencio, the Editor-In-Chief of Batch 2020 to 2021. In addition, Sharing of Experiences, Special Messages from the outgoing senior editors, and Balik Tanaw videos were also presented during the program, making the end of the outgoing batch more emotional and sentimental about the memorable moments of their term.

Furthermore, aside from recognizing the new set of editors, the turnover ceremony was held to formally commence and pay citation to the successful year of the outgoing batch of the Editorial Board as well as for a systematic entrustment of responsibilities to the incoming editors.

In determining the editors who are deserving and ready to take the duties of the positions, the Senior Editors of Yraga/Amudyong Batch 2021 to 2022 administered several deliberations including a virtual screening and interviews with each applicant and/or aspirants, last June 21 to 22 respectively.

After two weeks of the selection process, the Editorial Board for the School Year 2022 to 2023 are named early this evening. Anthonians, meet the newly appointed editors!
