This Privacy Policy explains how VegaNext LLC, operating the YPO Pro ("we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you access or use our mobile application (the "App") or related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information You Provide Directly
Account & Profile Information: When you log in, you provide credentials (username and password). Your member profile — including name, designation, company, biography, social links, and family, information — is provided by or on behalf of your YPO chapter.
Event Registrations: When you register for events through the App, we record your registration and any feedback or ratings you submit.
Forum & Group Participation: Information about your membership in forums and interest groups within the chapter.
Mentoring: If you sign up as a mentor or mentee, we collect the details you provide in that process.
Comments & Communications: Content you submit, such as comments on news articles or event feedback.
b) Information Collected Automatically
Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and app version.
Usage Data: Information about your activity in the App, including features accessed, content viewed, and session length.
Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we store a device token to deliver notifications to you.
c) Information from Your Chapter
Member profile data — including biographical details, spouse and family information, and forum assignments — may be provided directly by your YPO chapter administrators. We process this data on their behalf to operate the App.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
Enable member directory features, event management, forums, mentoring, and other App functionality.
Deliver push notifications and in-app alerts relevant to your chapter activity.
Communicate with you about updates, chapter news, and important notices.
Monitor and analyze trends and usage to improve the App experience.
Protect the security and integrity of our Services.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
Within Your Chapter: Member profile information is visible to other verified members of your YPO chapter through the App's directory and related features, consistent with the purpose of the platform.
With Service Providers: Trusted vendors who help us operate the Services, such as cloud hosting providers and analytics tools. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
For Legal Reasons: When required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, and property.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to a successor entity.
With Your Consent: When you give us explicit permission to share your data in other ways.
4. Your Choices
Profile Information: Contact your chapter administrator to update or correct your member profile information.
Push Notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
Account Access: To request deletion of your account or associated data, contact us using the details in Section 11.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If your chapter membership ends or you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information — including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed credential storage, and token-based authentication. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children’s Privacy
a) Children’s Privacy The App is intended exclusively for YPO chapter members, who are business leaders and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we discover that a minor has provided us personal data without appropriate authorization, we will delete it promptly.
b) Prohibited Conduct (CSAE & CSAM Zero-Tolerance) VegaNext LLC and YPO Pro strictly prohibit any content, conduct, or activity that constitutes, facilitates, or promotes Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) or Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
c) Enforcement & Legal Reporting Any user who violates this policy will be immediately removed and permanently banned from the platform. All confirmed or suspected violations will be reported to legal authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

8. International Users
The YPO Pro serves members internationally. If you access the Services from outside the jurisdiction where our servers are hosted, your information may be transferred to and processed in another country, which may have different data protection laws than your own. By using the App, you consent to such transfer and processing.
9. Third-Party Services
The App may display links to third-party content or rely on third-party infrastructure services.
This Privacy Policy does not cover the data practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with any personal information.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or by other appropriate means. The effective date at the top of this document reflects when the current version took effect. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
