Summary

박영은 교수는 (전) 사우디아라비아 알야마마대(Al Yamamah University) 및 프린스술탄대(Prince Sultan University)의 경영대학 교수였으며, (현) 국립인천대학교 글로벌 정경대학 무역학부 교수이다. 박 교수는 프린스 술탄 대학의 전략센터 센터장을 지냈으며, 한국경영학회의 '경영학 연구', 그리고 'Journal of Distribution Science'의 편집위원으로 활동했다. 서울대에서 경영학 석사(마케팅 전공)와 박사(전략 및 국제경영 전공) 학위를 받았고, 한국연구재단 지원으로 박사후 과정(포닥)을 마쳤다. 한국문화관광연구원을 거쳐 영화진흥위원회의 전문연구원, 영상물등급위원회 영화등급분류 심의위원, 문화체육관광부 우수학술도서 심사위원, 지역 우수 출판콘텐츠 제작지원사업의 심사위원, 성균관대학교 경영대학 초빙교수 등을 지냈고, 현재 한국콘텐츠진흥원의 전문가 평가위원, 국립 인천대 입학사정관 (Admissions Officer at INU), 「INU 학생부종합 모의전형」 운영을 위한 평가위원, 한국이해관계자 경영학회 상임이사, KAGBT(한국글로벌무역학회) 이사, 한국물류학회 이사, 인천연구원 K-콘텐츠 관련 평가 및 자문위원으로 일하고 있다. 중동에서 부는 한류 바람을 몸소 체험하면서 '중동에서의 한류'에 대한 강의 및 인터뷰, 책을 집필했고, 엔터테인먼트기업의 경영 전략에 관한 논문 및 저서를 활발히 집필하고 있으며, 동아비즈니스리뷰(DBR)의 (엔터테인먼트 분야) 정기연재 작가로,  '글로벌 한류 연구회 (Global K-Lab)'와 '한류학당'을 운영중이다. 주요 저서로는 베스트셀러인 『엔터테인먼트 경영 전략(2021)』, 『엔터테인먼트 경영학(2019)』, 『K-콘텐츠, 엔터테인먼트 기업의 성공전략(2017)』 외 다수가 있다. 또한, 공저자로 참여한 『문화트렌드 2023 (2022)』 2022년 10월말 출간되어 경영, 경제분야의 베스트셀러로 올랐고, SBS를 비롯, 여러 방송 매체에서도 소개되었다. 이어서 2023년 10월에 출간된 『2024 문화소비트렌드 (2023)』 역시 베스트셀러로 선정되었고, SBS 뉴스 및 다수의 신문에서 소개되었다.


Prof. Park is an Assistant Professor in the Division of International Trade in the College of Commerce & Public Affairs at Incheon National University in Korea. She was the Assistant Prof. and former Associate Director of the Strategic Planning & Development Center at Prince Sultan University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She has received her Doctoral (Major: Strategy & International Business) and Master (marketing)'s degrees from Seoul National University in Korea. She has also completed a Post-doctoral fellowship supported by the Korean Government. Dr. Park has over 20 years of combined, distinguished careers in academia, government, and business. She was granted several Excellence Awards for Research Papers and has authored several books and numerous academic papers in ISI/SCOPUS-indexed Journals. She is an active Editorial board member of several top international journals, including ISI/SCOPUS. Her main research area is the study of Multinational Enterprises' global business and building strategies with a knowledge-based view, Big data, and Data Mining, besides Teaching & Learning in Higher Education.
