If you want open-ear clip earbuds that keep you aware of your surroundings while fishing, choose YouthWhisper Ear Clip; if you need longer stated total playtime and Bluetooth 6.0, choose CHENRUIDA M75. Both have an open-ear design, but they take different approaches to fit, controls, and battery use. For fishing, I’d give the edge to YouthWhisper for its clip-style fit and stated IPX4 water resistance.
• YouthWhisper Ear Clip’s biggest strength: Open-ear clips, up to 8 hours per charge, and an IPX4 water-resistance claim. Trade-off: Its stated total playtime with the case is 40 hours, below the M75’s.
• CHENRUIDA M75’s biggest strength: Up to 80 hours of stated total playtime and Bluetooth 6.0. Trade-off: The product information does not provide an IPX water-resistance rating.
• Fit: YouthWhisper uses an ear-clip shape; CHENRUIDA describes an open-ear design intended to stay put during exercise.
• Controls: YouthWhisper lists touch controls; CHENRUIDA lists one-button control and automatic power-on and connection when removed from its case.
• Who should choose YouthWhisper: Someone who wants a clip-style open-ear option for outdoor activities, including fishing, and values a stated water-resistance rating.
• Who should choose CHENRUIDA: Someone who prioritizes longer stated case-supported playtime, newer Bluetooth, and the option to use one earbud at a time.
YouthWhisper’s defining feature is its open-ear clip design. Rather than filling the ear canal, the earbuds sit around the ear, leaving it unobstructed. That can make sense for fishing, where I’d want to hear nearby conversation and remain aware of what’s happening around me. It is also a practical style to consider for walking, cycling, or workouts when staying connected to the environment matters.
The stated playtime is up to 8 hours on a charge, with up to 40 hours total when using the charging case. The earbuds are listed as IPX4 water-resistant, which is intended to address sweat, rain, and splashes. That’s a useful detail for outdoor use, but it is not a reason to submerge them or treat them as waterproof. The case is specified as 180 mAh, and the listed charge time for the earbuds is 2 hours.

CHENRUIDA M75: Who It's For
CHENRUIDA M75 is also open-ear, but its headline practical advantage is battery endurance. The product claims up to 8 hours from an earbud and up to 80 hours total using the charging case. It also supports mono mode, so you can listen with either the left or right earpiece alone, as well as binaural mode for stereo listening. For someone who wants to spread listening across a long stretch of travel or activity, those features may be more compelling than a clip-style fit.
The M75 lists Bluetooth 6.0 and a range of up to 15 meters. It has one-button control, and the earbuds are described as powering on and connecting automatically when taken out of the case. The supplied items include a USB-C charging cable and a wireless charging case. The product also describes its sound transmission as using bone conduction technology, though it does not provide enough detail to treat that as equivalent to every product marketed specifically as bone conduction headphones.
I’d choose the M75 if long total playtime and single-ear listening are high on your list. It may suit someone moving between work, travel, and exercise who does not want to recharge the case as often. The important drawback for fishing is that the product information supplied here does not state an IPX water-resistance rating. If you expect sweat, rain, or splashes, that missing detail makes YouthWhisper the easier option to assess.
• Best for an explicit water-resistance rating → YouthWhisper Ear Clip. It is listed as IPX4, with sweat, rain, and splashes described as intended use cases. The M75 data does not state an IPX rating.
• Best for longer stated total playtime → CHENRUIDA M75. Its claimed total is up to 80 hours with the case, compared with YouthWhisper’s stated 40 hours.
• Best for an ear-clip shape → YouthWhisper Ear Clip. Its clip design leaves the ear canal open and provides a distinct fit style for people who do not want an in-ear shape.
• Best for Bluetooth version and stated range → CHENRUIDA M75. It lists Bluetooth 6.0 and a range of up to 15 meters; YouthWhisper lists Bluetooth 5.3 and 10 meters.
• Best for switching between one-ear and two-ear listening → CHENRUIDA M75. It specifies mono and binaural modes, making the one-ear option a clear part of its feature set.
• Best for quick, simple case-to-use setup → CHENRUIDA M75. Its earbuds are described as automatically powering on and connecting when removed from the case.
• Best for fishing in changeable outdoor conditions → YouthWhisper Ear Clip. The stated IPX4 rating gives a specific reference point for splash exposure. Neither open-ear design should be assumed to protect hearing from loud environmental noise.
• Best if you are searching for noise canceling sleep headphones for fishing → Neither is an obvious match. These are open-ear listening products, and the supplied information does not establish either as a sleep-focused design. For fishing, the more relevant distinction is between YouthWhisper’s clip fit and IPX4 listing and the M75’s longer stated total playtime.
• Best if you mean bone conduction headphones for fishing → CHENRUIDA M75 is the closer match by description. Its product information mentions bone conduction technology, while YouthWhisper describes directional sound transmission. The M75’s stated technology does not change the fact that both products are presented as open-ear.
• Best fit for someone comparing sports earbuds for fishing → YouthWhisper Ear Clip if water resistance is the deciding factor; CHENRUIDA M75 if battery endurance is. Both are described for active use, but their specifications emphasize different priorities.
My Verdict
In my opinion, I’d choose YouthWhisper Ear Clip for fishing. Its open-ear clip design suits the goal of staying aware of nearby sounds, and its IPX4 listing is a concrete advantage for an activity where splashes or rain may matter.
The M75 is the better fit if I cared more about its stated 80-hour total playtime, Bluetooth 6.0, or mono listening. But for fishing, I value the clearer water-resistance information more than the extra stated case-supported hours.
Yes. Both are described as open-ear products. YouthWhisper has an ear-clip shape, while the M75 is described more generally as open-ear and also mentions bone conduction technology.
The M75 claims up to 8 hours per earbud and up to 80 hours total with its case. YouthWhisper lists up to 8 hours per charge and up to 40 hours total with its case. Actual use may vary, and the figures are product specifications rather than a guarantee of a particular listening session.
YouthWhisper is the clearer choice based on the information provided because it is listed as IPX4 and described for sweat, rain, and splashes. The M75 information does not state an IPX rating, so I would not assume it has the same water resistance.
Neither should be treated as a sealed noise-blocking option: both are open-ear designs. YouthWhisper lists AI noise cancelling for its microphone, and the M75 lists noise-control features, but those descriptions do not establish that either will isolate the wearer from surrounding sounds. For fishing, the open-ear format is more relevant to staying aware of the environment.
