OH MY!!! You have NO IDEA what a God-send this is to me!!!! After 20 years of youth ministry, I was just burnt out and done. I have begged and pled for someone else to take over, but no one was willing. Not willing to see the youth forgotten, I have endeavored to trudge on.

This is like a breath of fresh air! Inspiration indeed! Thank you! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!!

Hello:

After a 7 year hiatus from being youth group leaders, my husband and I have been asked to lead at our new church. We were so hesitant and really had to pray about it. Finding these free lessons on line was such a Blessing!!! We are doing what we are called to do, our purpose! These lessons are AWESOME. The students love the games and the lessons create such amazing discussions! We teach 13 years and older, perfect lessons for this group. Thank you for all you do and all of the hard work that is put into these lessons!

Greg Stier unpacks the model found in the book of Acts, unveiling the seven key ingredients present within the early church, and shows how you can blend them together today to create a Gospelized youth ministry that results in dynamic Kingdom growth.

"Gospelize Your Youth Ministry is a thoughtful, biblical, practical, empowering and hopeful answer to how to do evangelism in the context of youth ministry. My prayer is that it will send shockwaves throughout the youth ministry world and change the landscape of evangelism in youth ministry."

We want students to know Jesus, love Jesus, and serve Jesus. If we cut through all of the noise, I think everyone (parents, youth leaders, pastors, and church leaders alike) would agree that the goal of youth ministry (and the church at large) is to help people be faithful followers of Jesus for a lifetime.

Young people are the future, and there is no work more noble than equipping them to lead well by discerning the voice of God in their lives. If helping students discover the calling God has for them is your passion, the youth ministry minor is the perfect complement to your degree.

This 19-semester-hour course of study will prepare you for ministry with adolescents in either church or parachurch settings. Because we believe practical field experience in ministry is the best way to develop ministry skills, cultivate a sense of calling, and enhance future employment opportunities, we place a high priority on field ministry in real-world settings.

I spent two years doing ministry with the safety net and coaching of my professors. I experienced some majorly challenging moments in ministry that continued even after I graduated, and to know I still had professors I could call on to meet and to problem solve was huge for me. They helped me understand how God had been working over the course of my life to show me what his calling on my life would be, and they gave me the tools I needed to do the work God has for me.

The course curriculum includes classes on Christian discipling, a study of motivation, guidance, and method as they apply to youth and youth ministries, and the study of major trends and issues confronting and shaping young people in American culture today.

In this revised and expanded edition, Greg Stier shares the secret to effective and exciting ministry, unpacking the model found in the book of Acts and showing how youth leaders worldwide can implement it to create a dynamic ministry that grows the Kingdom and produces spiritual fruit in their teenagers.

We see it in our churches. In the typical church, the number of teenagers attending youth group has steadily shrunk over the last few decades. The pandemic accelerated that trend. Even youth groups with decent attendance often fail to experience enough new disciples made and multiplied to make a significant statistical dent when compared to the full number of unreached teenagers who reside in their communities.

My prayer is for this conversation to lead to the utter and absolute transformation of youth ministry. Why? So that every teen, everywhere, has every last chance to be reached, discipled, and mobilized for the cause of Christ.

The 2024 Forum on Youth Ministry invites you to join us for 3.5 days of worship, workshops, small groups on the campus of Princeton Theological Seminary, as we host productive conversations that give voice to our collectives hopes, dreams, and ideas for the future of youth ministry.

Throughout the week, participants in our three workshop tracks will join in conversations and activities that will lead them toward presenting their learnings for the entire Forum audience. At every experience level, we will all learn from each other and honor the expertise that is in the room whenever we gather. Together, we will craft the future of youth ministry that we want to witness and practice in the world.

We are seeking high school peer leaders from every high school and parish in the diocese. Team formation begins in February and missionary youth ministry service to the diocese begins this summer. To recommend an individual, e-mail [email protected].
