The Youth Congress awarded grants and business equipment to 45 youth entrepreneurship groups in Nairobi that are working to improve livelihoods. The initiative implemented with support from Kenya Community Development Foundation has impacted many lives.

MYC was founded in 2007 by the Youth Coordinating Board (YCB), an intergovernmental organization that brings together city and county elected officials, the parks department and public school system to align policies and activities that impact Minneapolis children and youth.

The Indian Youth Congress is the youth wing of the Indian National Congress party. The Indian Youth Congress was a department of the Indian National Congress from the period just after the Partition of India in 1947 until the late 1960s. While prime minister, Indira Gandhi gave the Youth Congress a new dimension by establishing it as a frontal organisation of the Congress Party, with the objective of doing social work and arguing against right-wing parties. Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi was the first elected president of the Indian Youth Congress; Chandy Oommen was the National outreach Chairman[1][2]

he later became Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary affairs in the Indian cabinet. Narayan Dutt Tiwari was the first President. Jitin Prasada was also the president of the Indian youth congress.

In August, 2012 the Pradesh Youth Congress Jammu and Kashmir launched a statewide protest against the Government led by National Conference for the implementation of the 73rd and 74th Amendments to the Constitution of India relating to Panchayti Raj in Jammu and Kashmir. The protests were led by J&K youth Congress president Mohammad Shahnawaz Choudhary.[21]

In January 2015, Indian National Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi directed nationwide protest against Land Acquisition Ordinance brought in by Indian Central government.[22] The protest took place in various part of country.[23][24] On 18 February, Indian Youth Congress protested against Vyapam Scam and Land Acquisition Ordinance near Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha where they were charged with water canon in which several youth congress volunteers were hurt and arrested along with Indian Youth Congress National President Amrinder Singh Raja Warring.[25]

During EYE2023, more than 1000 ideas for Europe's future were collected on youthideas.eu. The European Youth Hearing brought the 10 top-voted ideas directly to Members of the European Parliament. The event was also a key opportunity for young people to discuss their concerns with policy-makers ahead of the European elections in 2024.

For communication purposes, the Congress uses the logo of the Council of Europe together with a visual of the Congress with specific references: in English, The Congress and in French, Le Congrs. This set (logo and visual) is the central element of the Congress' visual identity.

I am delighted to join you, in beautiful Qubec City, for this 4th World Youth Congress. On behalf of Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon and the entire United Nations system, I congratulate the organizers for successfully bringing together so many distinguished young people, from so many countries around the world, to celebrate youth-led development.

Many of you have truly initiated change in your communities. But let us remember that many young people do not have the opportunity or ability to contribute. Many lack adequate education, health, even water and food to enable them to live their lives fully. About 160 million young people are undernourished and more than 200 million are surviving on less than $1 per day. Almost 130 million youth around the world are illiterate; more than one third of the estimated 6,800 new HIV infections each day are among youth, and young people continue to be three times more likely than adults to be unemployed. So while we celebrate your achievements, let us also think about how to help youth to break out of the cycle of poverty that holds them down and prevents their full participation in society.

To my colleagues in the United Nations system, I am indeed proud to see the collaborative effort demonstrated in this Congress. The United Nations has participated in other youth meetings such as this, though often, each office in its individual capacity. The UN presence here at the 4th World Youth Congress demonstrates our common commitment and our range of approaches and specializations in the area of youth development. Young people confront an array of opportunities as well as challenges. We must apply our broad range of expertise in a coordinated manner to address them.

The brochure demonstrates how the work of the various parts of the United Nations system relating to youth is complementary and covers all 15 priority areas of the World Programme of Action. While the brochure may look like any other publication to you, it is truly a first. For the first time, the United Nations system has come together to take stock of our activities related to youth development. My thanks go to the family of UN system Agencies, Funds, Offices and Programmes which contributed to the brochure, and I encourage them to build on this spirit of cooperation to do even more to advance youth development.

We must truly work together to make strategic investments in youth. Investments which target young people today will not only improve the wellbeing of a large generation of young people, but will also serve long-term social and economic development. I urge you to consider a formalization of UN-system collaboration in the continued implementation of the World Programme of Action for Youth.

The Jewish Youth Assembly (JYA) is a multi-day conference designed for students aged 15-18. It provides a unique platform for participants to delve into the diverse tapestry of Jewish communities across the globe and engage in meaningful discussions on the most pressing issues confronting Jewish people today. Modeled after the World Jewish Congress's (WJC) structure, JYA equips students with an insider's perspective on the workings of the WJC and provides them with problem-solving skills to address critical issues affecting the global Jewish community. The conference allows students to collaboratively work to represent specific communities, conduct research on their history, learn about the issues the WJC is tackling, and speak directly to represented communities and expert leaders. This interactive experience culminates in crucial reports that serve as the collective voice of Jewish youth across the world in the day-to-day deliberations of the World Jewish Congress.

OJJDP provides national leadership, coordination, and resources to prevent and respond to youth delinquency and victimization. The Office helps states, localities, and Tribes develop effective and equitable juvenile justice systems that create safer communities and empower youth to lead productive lives.

The Department of Justice's Office for Access to Justice recently released "Access to Justice Spotlight: Fines & Fees." This report highlights approaches that jurisdictions are taking to presume youth indigent and eliminate juvenile fines and fees.

OJJDP hosted a Youth Justice Action Month panel discussion on "Centering Impacted Youth and Families" on October 26, 2023, in Washington DC. This event featured a panel of youth and parent advocates impacted by the juvenile justice system.
