Lord Jesus, who had no place to lay Your head,
look with mercy on our brothers and sisters who sleep on the streets tonight.
Comfort the homeless in their cold and loneliness.
Feed the hungry with Your miraculous bread.
Lift up the poor who struggle each day just to survive.
Through the intercession of St. Francis of Assisi and all the saints who served the least among us,
send Your Holy Spirit to stir hearts of compassion in our communities.
Give us the grace to see Your face in every person in need,
and the courage to reach out with open hands and loving hearts.
Mary, Mother of the Poor, pray for them and for us.
