If it is, it is good and it is God
All God's creation is inherently good, marred only by the satan's intervention of the human ego and external malevolence, presents a compelling perspective on the nature of sin and evil. Within this framework, creation itself stands as a testament to divine glory, a continuous and untainted expression of God's will. It is the intrusion of the human ego, coupled with the deceptive influence of an evil entity, that distorts this original goodness, introducing sin and suffering into the world.
Humility, therefore, emerges as a critical virtue. Recognizing the inherent goodness of creation and the corrupting potential of the ego necessitates a posture of self-awareness and restraint. To resist the allure of ego-driven desires, unless demonstrably aligned with a greater good, becomes a moral imperative. This nuanced approach acknowledges that even the ego, potentially destructive, can be channeled constructively, serving a higher purpose when guided by discernment and a commitment to Gods law, scripture and Catholic teachings. Ultimately, the key lies in distinguishing between authentic need and self-serving ambition, allowing humility to guide decisions and preserve the integrity of God's creation.
The inherent goodness of creation, as divinely ordained, does not preclude its eventual dissolution. While God and certain human souls are deemed eternal, material existence is subject to transience. Reflecting this, the notion exists that following the six days of creation and a day of rest, on the eighth day a subsequent act of divine will introduced rust and decay, symbolizing the cyclical process of transformation and renewal inherent within the created order.
The practice of reciting a specific prayer, Like the one at the end The Core, may offer individuals a framework for contemplating humanity's place within a broader, divinely ordained universe. Such a practice, if undertaken with sincerity and reflection, could potentially foster a sense of perspective and deeper understanding and a love of God who is good.
Oh Lord, help me reflect and ponder my place in this vast universe and be humble. Let us remember that we are but a speck of dust on a speck of dust on this tiny planet hurling through this vast majestic universe of God. Let me be humble and love, adore and praise the Creator.Let us always remember that God the Father sent His only begotten Son to this spec of dust to save us all !
Amen
