Young Roots Services includes garden planning, soil aeration, soil amending, and planting in prepared, bare soil. All materials will be supplied by the client
Pricing does not include the removal of existing sod, vegetation, or debris. Sod/vegetation removal can be provided at an additional charge upon request.
After the initial site visit, Young Roots will provide 1 draft Garden Plan for clients to review. Client feedback on the draft Garden Plan is required within 48 hours of receiving the draft plan. Young Roots will then update the Garden plan based on client feedback and send to the client their Final Garden plan.
Any additional labor or services outside the agreed-upon scope will incur extra charges, which will be discussed and approved before proceeding.
Young Roots site visits included in each package are limited to locations within a 50 Km radius of Colborne, Ontario. Locations outside of the 50 Km radius are subject to additional costs to be agreed upon prior to booking.

Construction and installation of raised beds is available as an add-on service. Pricing varies based on size and materials.

The client is responsible for supplying all necessary materials (soil, compost, mulch, plants, seeds, etc.), unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. If material sourcing is arranged through Young Roots, additional costs will apply.
The client must ensure the site is accessible and soil is clear of all sod/debris before garden work begins. Any delays due to site inaccessibility may result in rescheduling and additional charges.

Young Roots is not responsible for damage or loss caused by pests, diseases, rodents, deer, birds, weather conditions, or any other factors after planting.
Success of the garden depends on ongoing care and maintenance by the client. No guarantees are made regarding plant survival or yield.
Any modifications to final garden design or planting plan after work has commenced may result in additional costs.

A 30% deposit is required to secure bookings for projects
Full payment is due upon completion of the agreed-upon services unless otherwise arranged.
If Young Roots supplies any materials, Young Roots will provide a quote of materials needed and full payment for the materials is required upon acceptance of the quote.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance. If the client cancels a scheduled meeting within 48 hours of the meeting time then a $50 cancellation fee will be required prior to rescheduling.
