At Young Literary Scholars, we aim to empower high school students who are passionate about literature by offering unique opportunities to post their work, become literary editors, and grow as literary writers.
Often, there are not enough opportunities for teens interested in literature with the rise of social media and the promotion of STEM-based subjects.
This is why we partner with various student led and literary organizations to offer opportunities for students to get volunteer hours, internships, and writing experiences.
Crossing the Lines is a Poetry Write-A-Thon created by 30+ student led organizations including younglitscholars dedicated to promoting literacy by rasing money for the World Literacy Foundation. Poets are encouraged to donate as well as write to compete to be published and recognized for their poems.
We strive to bridge the gap for aspiring readers, writers, and artists by providing free resources, including comprehensive AP English & Language guides, AP History Guides, and fostering a vibrant community where literature, poetry, and art are explored and developed. We had the opportunity to collaborate with our affiliated organization, YoungMedscholars to create a free study guide made by our founder, Amirah Jannati who scored a 5 on the AP World Exam! This study guide is available to members for free as well as students around the world.
