Young Economist Symposium 2022
The Young Economist Symposium (YES) is an annual student-run conference for PhD students, sponsored by Columbia, NYU, UPenn, Princeton and Yale.
This year's conference is hosted at Yale University from August 19th to 20th.
YES gives PhD students an opportunity to present their work and receive feedback from a diverse audience of their peers from other schools.
What is the cost to attend?
Submission, registration, and attendance are free for presenters and graduate students. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide funding for lodging or travel expenses. We expect that participants may be able to obtain some travel funding from their own universities.
Who can attend?
We welcome and encourage submissions from a diverse set of economics PhD candidates at all schools and in all fields. Attendees who are not presenting are also welcome.
How do I submit?
Submissions are now open. The deadline for submissions will be May 15th.
