Hello! I am a first-year in the school psychology program. I received my B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in English from Purdue University Fort Wayne. Before joining the program, I worked in schools with 5th and 6th graders at a local mental/behavioral health center. I am broadly interested in working with neurodiverse learners and families in urban settings. I am specifically passionate about enhancing school engagement and family support. Hi! I am a first year in the school psychology program! I graduated from Texas Christian University in May with my B.S in psychology and minors in child development and business. I was raised in Houston, so I am super excited to be here for grad school! My research interests broadly focus on the effectiveness of school-based interventions in supporting neurodiverse learners, and school attachment. Hello! I am a first-year student in the school psychology program. I graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in sociology and psychology. My background includes working in an early intervention clinic and serving as a research assistant in the Children’s Learning Clinic, where I studied executive functioning in children with ADHD. My current research interests are broad, encompassing autism assessment, the effects of academic enablers with children with autism, and the relationship between ADHD and executive functioning. Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with friends, reading, and exploring parks and museums.
I am a second-year student in school psychology and a graduate research assistant in the y'ALL Lab. I earned my B.S. in cognitive science and M.S. in human development and early childhood disorders from UT Dallas. Hello! I am a doctoral student in School Psychology at the University of Houston with training in both psychology and Spanish. I earned my M.S. in Psychology and M.A. in Spanish from the University of Texas at San Antonio. My research interests include psychometrics, measurement development, and construct validation, particularly as they relate to belonging, identity, and culturally responsive assessment. I am passionate about developing psychological measures that are both methodologically rigorous and meaningful for diverse communities.
I am a second-year doctoral student in School Psychology and a former Texas-certified junior high school language arts teacher. I hold a master’s degree in education, and my research interests - shaped by my classroom experience - include teacher bias in assessment, school-based interventions for at-risk youth, teacher mental health, and teacher coaching and consultation.
