Dear Friend,
My name is Pablo Villaverde and I have suffered the shame of being a snorer for almost 30 years. This has brought me not only physical consequences but also psychological and sleep disorders .
Are you tired of…
… Wake up every night because of the annoying noises that you make yourself?
… Bothering the person next to you night after night, who cannot fall asleep because of you ?
… Suffer the consequences of bad sleep in your daily life?
… Not being able to enjoy your waking life , why can't you rest properly at night?
... be tired ?!?!?
At the University I was known as "The Tractor . " In those days I considered it a grace, but analyzing the subject from a distance and with a little more maturity, I feel that everything I have had to go through because of my snoring has caused me a lot of pain .
Snoring has caused me a lot of pain
I remember my mother telling me that from a very young age I already made many more noises than my brother when sleeping, but since in my old house I did not share a room with anyone, my karma was kept a secret.
But I did know what was happening to me. I did feel like I was drowning every night. I was the one who woke up due to my own noises. It is a situation that I do not wish on anyone ...
Why do we snore?
Snoring is a much more common problem than everyone thinks . Researching some statistics, I have found that one in seven adults snore when they sleep. Another common factor that occurs among people who snore is that they generally breathe through the mouth , since the noise is made by the vibration that the air produces when passing through the uvula or uvula. The narrower the airway, the more intense the vibration and ultimately the louder the snoring.
One of the reasons why most people who snore sleep with their mouths open is because they have some obstruction in the nasal passages or in the throat.
Snoring can also be caused by other conditions, such as infections or even the food you eat . These are questions that most people are unaware of.
The most common factors of people who suffer from snoring are:
a stuffy nose.
adenoids or highly developed tonsils.
polyps in the nose.
deviated septum.
poorly fitting dentures.
the habit of sleeping on the back, causing the tongue to fall back and partially obstruct the larynx.
Because he used to sleep so badly, he was a person who was constantly tired . And that made me fall asleep anywhere . And when I say anywhere, I mean precisely that! I have been found sleeping in discos, in family gatherings, at work, and I even fell asleep standing on the train! This has made me go through many embarrassing moments , since when I woke up, everyone was there, joking about what they were hearing.
I had the worst times of my life
The biggest problem (or the one that most traumatized me) was when I started dating . I was fully aware of what was happening to me and generally used to alert my partners to my "little" problem. I had the worst moments of my life . I always tried to wait for them to fall asleep and then do it myself, but my snoring was so powerful that it would wake up even a deaf person!
My appointments didn't last long, I had problems at work, and I was constantly tired. This problem had to end. I had to fix my condition if I wanted to start living a "normal" life.
I decided to turn to specialists to analyze my situation. They all seemed very relaxed, as if it were a very recurring condition. They carried out many studies, analyzes , etc. There was nothing abnormal in my body. Many did not believe that the subject was too serious.
No Treatment Solved My Problem
I tried all the solutions that were suggested to me. Sleep on your stomach, on your side, drink a lot of water before sleeping, drink little water, use appliques in the nose, in the mouth, ear plugs, pills, everything !!!
Nothing had any effect on me . Nothing could even mitigate the problem. I was in an extreme situation. I had to find a solution if I didn't want this problem to keep interfering in my life.
Snoring Must Be Treated
Snoring should not be ignored as if left untreated it can lead to some serious and life-threatening illnesses that may require hospitalization and even surgery. Some examples of this are Sleep Apnea, Heart Disease, Stroke, and many others.
There are many people who propose prescription drugs, or some over-the-counter, as a first solution to this problem. All those who have tried to find an answer through them (I have), will be able to confirm that these drugs DO NOT work . All they do is cover up snoring, but they don't attack the true causes of it.
The other option (which is not available to everyone) is surgery. For those of you considering surgery to fix your snoring problems, I advise you to think about it carefully, as not only can surgery have serious side effects, it can potentially make your snoring worse . Surgery can lead to complications such as infections, poor tissue healing, and even permanent damage to your voice .
One of the considerations that most concern people who have surgery is that it can cause long-term complications . Unfortunately, even if you spend a lot of money on surgery, this will not ensure that you will stop snoring forever.
There was one night when I decided that it would be the last night with my "curse". I was tired of having to go to sleep in another room so that my wife could rest in peace. I wanted to stop bothering my family, and stop suffering daily from my snoring.
I decided to start investigating everything in my power about my anomaly. From books, essays, reports, the internet, etc. He had to find a solution, and he had to do it as soon as possible!
Fortunately, I discovered that there were certain little-known natural methods that could help me with my noises at night . I decided to start putting them to the test because after so many years of unsuccessful attempts, I had nothing to lose ...
To my surprise and especially to my wife's, these methods were working ! We couldn't believe when we woke up in the morning after having slept ALL night. In our 15 years of marriage, this has practically never happened! We were extremely happy .
