Yotam Hendel - Homepage

Hello! I am a senior FWO postdoctoral fellow at the Algebra Section of the Mathematics Department at KU Leuven.

Previously, I was a post-doctoral researcher at Université de Lille, and a Boas Assistant Professor at Northwestern University. I finished my PhD at the Weizmann Institute of Science, working under the supervision of Prof. Rami Aizenbud and Prof. Joseph Bernstein. Even before that, I studied at Bar-Ilan University, working under supervision of Prof. Michael Schein.

My CV is available here.

Broadly speaking, my research interests lie in the interactions of singularity theory, number theory, p-adic and motivic integration, representation theory, group theory and algebraic geometry. Here is a video recording of me talking about convolutions in algebraic geometry and singularity properties of word maps, and here is a video recording of me talking about number theoretic characterizations of certain interesting singularity properties.
