I want bread and a soda, please.

We may have already covered the word for "fruit" and "eat" and such, but what about specifics? If you went to a store looking for a Kiwi it could be a little difficult to communicate you wanted a Kiwi specifically if you only knew the word for a fruit.

Notice how many of the fruit names have the same endings as color! Red and Apple both end with "Æ", Blue and Blueberry both end with "Gyu".

In all fairness, if you were to take a hypothetical trip to Yoshi's Island, it would be kind of a letdown if you only knew how to ask for fruit.

The vegetable names were less tied to the colors, as you could see.

It would be cruel to only let you eat fruits an veggies, so here are the names of some common foods and a couple of drinks:

Final note: If you want to use the last two, you must structure it as:

"...(thing)'r (bubuzh/ahhahhzh)...", e.g. "Buredo'r bubuzh" for "A slice of bread".
