Normally, words in Yoshispeak has emphasis on the spaces, with a significant and mostly noticeable pause between words. Adding a Bubujletar instead of a space between words removes said stop and as a result slurs the words together. This is important as it can change the meanings of words entirely, making them possessive or merging words together, creating entirely different meanings. It is also used to make "variations" of certain words, and makes it a little easier to read in that case.
