About
I am Yoshiki Yoshimura, a postdoc at University of Tokyo in Japan.
My main field of research is moral philosophy.
My phd project was about the use of general principles in standard contractualism. I attempted to elaborate a form of contractualism in response to some objections to the use of general principles.
My postdoc project is about moral theorizing. I am interested in what kind of disagreement remains, assuming the success of consequentializing, and its implications to moral theorizing.
I visited the Uehiro Institute at the University of Oxford from October 2024 to September 2025 and Queen's University from September 2022 to August 2023.
