 This summer school will serve as an introduction to the recent advances in Lie theory made possible using geometric and categorical ideas. There will be a five-day conference in York the following week, for which registration is separate and details can be found here.

There will be a conference fee of £150 for students and  £250 otherwise.  The conference fee will cover all your accommodation expenses as well as breakfasts.  We also hope to be able to make some contribution toward the travel expenses of attendees.   If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact one of the organisers:
