Turn the silent 99% into usable intelligence.
With Wearable Computing, Ambient and Smart Sensing; Continuously, Real-time
Enhance the way people interact with computing
We build bio-signal models and interfaces that translate the body's complex data streams into actionable, real-time commands. By developing a wearable sensor system and efficient machine learning algorithms, we decode human intent, cognitive load, and physiological states directly from the source. Our goal is to fundamentally enhance the way people interact with computing, creating truly adaptive and intuitive human-machine interfaces that respond not just to our actions, but also to our internal state.
Personalized and preventive human event
Our lab leverages Artificial Intelligence to shift the focus of healthcare from reactive treatment to proactive prevention. We engineer predictive models that analyze continuous, multi-modal data from custom smart sensing systems to identify subtle patterns of human and health events. This research enhances individuals and clinicians with tools for early detection and timely intervention, introducing the way for a future of personalized and preventive markers.
Scaling AI Sensing for Personalized Development
We are scaling AI to provide personalized learning and developmental support for all children. By creating Ambient Intelligence systems, context-aware environments, and unobtrusive wearables, we aim to understand and respond to each child's unique cognitive and emotional needs in real-time. Our work focuses on designing supportive technologies that can make individualized education more accessible, creating more engaging and effective learning experiences.
