I'm the PI of Spacetime Intelligence Lab. I also serve as the director of KAIST Urban AI Institute.

Coming from Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Science, and Civil Engienring background, my research focus is system-of-systems, which includes transportation system, urban systems, logistics system, and public health system. My recent research interests include the following areas.
Spatio-temporal Intelligence: GNN-based Traffic Forecast; Urban Region Representation Learning; Time-series Topological Contrastive Learning
Urban AI: AI adaptation to urban systems including transport, economy, health. Recent research activities focus on robot-urban interaction, greenfield/brownfield development, climate resillience and Urban Air Mobility (UAM)
