M.S. in Physics, Gachon Univ.
Final Defense 12/Dec/2022
After briefly presenting the basic principles of batteries and related measurement principles, I presented low-temperature batteries and polyimide films, which I studied for two years during my master's programme.
The final defense was given in English.
Quantum Wiki Editor Sep/2021-Nov/2021
Editing and writing of semiconductor-based qubits chapter
To contribute to the Quantum Wiki project, I translated English physics terms into appropriate Korean terminology and participated in weekly online meetings to compile and refine a glossary. After completing the glossary, I contributed to developing Wikipedia-style articles related to quantum computing, focusing on NV-centred qubits. I reviewed the content, added necessary explanations, and edited figures.

Internship Program at WWIT 01/Apr/2020-31/Jul/2020
Study of low-temperature behavior of Li-ion battery using Carbon material (Graphite and Crumpled Graphene Oxide)
Internship Program at Fresnel Factory 15/Jul/2019- 09/Aug/2019
At the request of the company, I conducted noise inspections of Fresnel lenses using an oscilloscope under various injection moulding conditions. In addition, I tested whether the passive infrared sensor (PIR) equipped with Fresnel lenses could accurately detect humans and small animals and investigated the detection range.
Internship at Professor Joonho Bae's Lab in Gachon University (as an undergraduate researcher) Nov/2018-Feb/2021
I worked on the synthesis of transparent and flexible polyimide-CNT composite films and analysed their characteristics, studied solid electrolytes for low-temperature batteries, investigated the fundamentals of lithium-ion batteries, and synthesised graphene quantum dots (GQDs). While carrying out these research projects to explore fields that interested me, I developed a strong interest in low-temperature batteries. This led me to decide to pursue a master’s degree under the supervision of Professor Joonho Bae.
University Internship Program Sep/2018-Dec/2018
In order to explore research fields that interested me, I joined a laboratory in the Department of Physics through a university internship programme. I worked on fabricating a biosensor by coating oxidised multiwall CNTs onto a glass petri dish and applying a gel layer on top. I reported any issues discovered during fabrication and suggested improvements. At the end of the internship, I presented a poster summarising my work. As this internship took place during the semester, I carried out experiments during time slots without lectures.
University Internship Program Jul/2018-Aug/2018
To explore research fields that interested me, I participated in a university internship programme in the Department of Physics, where I studied perovskite materials, fabricated perovskite-based devices, and evaluated their performance.
