I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the International Islamic University Malaysia (2018), following an M.C.A. from Bangalore University (2013) and a B.C.A. from the University of Kashmir (2010).
Since joining King Faisal University in 2019 as an Assistant Professor, I was promoted to Associate Professor in February 2024. My research contributions have earned me repeated recognition in Stanford/Elsevier’s Top 2% Scientists Worldwide list (2024–2025) and the Research Excellence Award from King Faisal University in both 2022 and 2023–24.
Previously, I served as a lecturer and research assistant at the International Islamic University Malaysia (2014–2018). My research expertise spans Database Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Image Processing, with a strong focus on applying these technologies to address challenges in healthcare and agriculture.
I am passionate about advancing impactful AI-driven solutions that contribute to innovation, knowledge, and sustainable development.
