Week 5
Week 5
something that you might not notice is that most of these are the same object that has been twisted and turned around. One thing about all these objects is that I didn't need to model multiple of the same objects because when its imported into unity you can set a randomizer to change the height and size of the object when you use a brush to put it in place.
This week I got the bulk of the important assets out of the way. These are the trees that I modelled. I was originally only going to make the cherry blossoms and the dead trees but realised that I needed to off a range of trees to make the scenery look realistic. one issue that I had with the trees was when its imported into unity it goes off of a different axis changing how they are placed with a brush.
These are some simple bushes that I made. I wanted to keep a variety of vegetation in my scenery and decided that it would be a good idea to add some low level vegetation that sits on the floor of Japanese mountains.
To add to the mountain range that I was going for I needed some rocks. I carried on using the same object for the rocks and pebbles. Again I wanted variety and made some pebbles as all of the big rocks breakdown over hundreds of years into smaller rocks/pebbles. I there was a time waster with this as I didn't end up using all of these.
