User Content: The Extension only processes text that you explicitly select for translation or analysis. This text is processed in real-time and is not stored by the Extension developer.
API Keys: Your API keys (e.g., OpenAI, DeepSeek, or other AI providers) are stored locally on your device using chrome.storage. We never have access to your keys, and they are never sent to our servers.
To provide translation and linguistic analysis, the Extension sends your selected text to third-party AI service providers via API as configured by you. These services are governed by their own privacy policies (e.g., OpenAI’s Privacy Policy). We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any AI provider you choose to use.
Since all configurations and API keys are stored locally within your browser's secure storage, the security of your data depends on your device's security. We do not maintain any external database to store your history or preferences.
