Earthquake experienced at VCMC
On the morning of the frightful Friday the 13th, 2023, around 9:30 AM, is the scarily timed earthquake, suspected to stem from Taal Volcano. The earthquake was apparently derived from the 5.0 Magitude earthquake from Calaca Batangas (GMA News). As the quake was far away enough to leave very minimal damage at VCMC, still some students felt a sense of scare. A student from 11 HUMSS Thaddeus shared her experience. "Nakakatakot, akala ko ang lakas ng hangin ng electric fan, 'yun pala earthquake na." Our prayers to those affected, especially in the epicenter of the disaster.
