Yizhen Wang

Welcome to my website!

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, expecting to graduate in 2026. I previously earned dual bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Renmin University of China.

My research interests span macro-finance, government debt, open economy macroeconomics, and fiscal & monetary policy. My current work primarily explores:

• The dynamics and risks of bubbly government debt

• Heterogeneity, misallocation, and aggregate fluctuations

• Multiplicity, cycles, and welfare
